How wealthy are we talking here? With enough cash you shouldn't have a problem getting a hold of anything you want.

In any case, I'd rather be wealthy. That way I can drive my cars, the ones I like and choose to own, and I never have to pretend to care about the new Corolla.

Trivia: Harry got the money to start EVO by telling the bank he was buying farm equipment.

There doesn't seem to be any benefit to being a Journo, especially if yo could just buy the cars that they would drive anyway.

I'm wondering whether I'd rather be moderately wealthy and own say a dozen of the cars I really like, or be a journalist and drive them all (but not own them).

Personally, I'm definitely leaning towards the former. A massive part of what I like about cars is working on them. Be it fixing them or modifying them, it's just fun :)

Definitely a shame he went to Jaguar - although it's only a minor bit of tarnish on their brand.

And if you believe that story about the farm equipment, I've a Metcalfe Special to sell you. He was absolutely loaded long before he started Evo, thanks to ripping off the farm subsidy system and a bunch of small farmers who were foolish enough to trust him. He might have defrauded a bank as well, but he had plenty of cash he could have used. He's just the kind of shithead who'd do that.
